1. Who We Are and What We Do

The Legal NP provides educational content, courses, guides, digital products, and related resources focused on the intersection of healthcare and law. Our purpose is to educate and inform. We are an education brand. We are not a law firm, a medical practice, or a substitute for either.

All content, products, courses, guides, templates, and communications provided through the Services are for general educational and informational purposes only.

Nothing in the Services constitutes legal advice, creates an attorney-client relationship, or should be relied upon as a substitute for advice from a licensed attorney in your jurisdiction. Nothing in the Services constitutes medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, creates a provider-patient relationship, or should be relied upon as a substitute for advice from a licensed healthcare professional. • No professional relationship of any kind is formed by your use of the Services, your purchase of a product, or your communication with us.
• Your responsibility. Any action you take based on information from the Services is taken at your own risk. You are solely responsible for your own decisions and outcomes.

You acknowledge and agree that The Legal NP has no liability for any decision you make or action you take based on the Services.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a legally binding contract to use the Services. By using the Services, you represent that you meet these requirements and that all information you provide is accurate.

4. Accounts

Some parts of the Services may require an account. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at contact@thelegalnp.com if you suspect unauthorized use. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

5. Purchases, Payments, and Refunds

If you purchase a product or program, you agree to pay all listed fees and authorize us (and our payment processors) to charge your chosen payment method.

• Prices are listed on the Site and may change at any time.
• All sales are final unless a specific refund policy is stated on the product's checkout or sales page. Where a refund policy is provided, that policy governs.
• You are responsible for any taxes associated with your purchase.
• We use third-party payment processors. We do not store full payment card details on our servers.

6. SMS / Text Messaging Program

By providing your mobile phone number and opting in, you expressly consent to receive text messages (SMS/MMS) from The Legal NP at the number provided. These messages may include account and purchase notifications, program updates, customer care, reminders, and marketing or promotional offers.

By opting in, you agree to the following:

• Message frequency varies based on your interaction with us.
• Message and data rates may apply according to your mobile carrier plan.
• To opt out at any time, reply STOP. After you reply STOP, you will receive one confirmation message and then no further messages, unless you opt in again.

• Consent is not a condition of purchase. You do not have to agree to receive text messages in order to buy any product or use any part of the Services.
• Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

• Supported carriers and delivery are not guaranteed and may change without notice.

8. Intellectual Property

We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use purchased materials for your own personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, reproduce, resell, redistribute, republish, share login access to, or create derivative works from any content without our prior written permission. Violation of this section may result in immediate termination of access and legal action.

9. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Share, resell, or distribute paid content or account access.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Services or other users' accounts.
• Upload viruses, malicious code, or attempt to disrupt the Services.

We reserve the right to remove content and suspend or terminate access for any violation.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that any information provided is complete, current, or accurate for your specific situation. We make no guarantees regarding any results, outcomes, income, or benefits from using the Services.

12. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE LEGAL NP AND ITS OWNERS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, AND AFFILIATES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES.

IN NO EVENT WILL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE, OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100).

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless The Legal NP and its owners, employees, contractors, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorney fees) arising from your use of the Services, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party.

14. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Services will be resolved through binding individual arbitration in Texas, except that either party may bring an individual claim in small claims court. You and The Legal NP waive the right to a jury trial and agree not to participate in any class action. If any part of this section is found unenforceable, the remainder stays in effect.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Changes are effective when posted to the Site with an updated "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the Services after changes are posted means you accept the revised Terms.

16. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including violation of these Terms. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification) will survive.
